Important Update: A New Chapter for Masterless Fencing

To our students, friends, and the Eugene community:

we have some significant news to share regarding our training space. We were notified that we will no longer be able to use the facility at ReNa after the end of this month. This means that next week will be our final week of practice at our current location.

While this news is sudden, the spirit of Masterless Fencing has always been about adaptability and resilience. Our mission to keep historical martial arts alive in Eugene remains unchanged. We are already hitting the ground running to find a new spot whether that is a temporary training spot or a long-term home.

How You Can Help

Finding a space in Eugene that accommodates high ceilings and safe movement for HEMA is no small feat, and we are asking for our community’s support in two ways:

  1. Leads on Space: If you know of a gym, warehouse, or community space (even a temporary one!) in the Eugene area that might be a fit for our practices, please reach out to us immediately via email or Discord.

  2. Financial Support: Relocating a nonprofit on short notice comes with significant hurdles, from security deposits to insurance adjustments. We have updated our Donation Page specifically to fund this transition. Every contribution helps us secure a new location faster so we can get back to training.

We will keep everyone updated right here as we scout new locations. Thank you for your patience, your passion, and for being the heart of this club.
